inaugural seedling mini-grant for environmental educators

Georgia Project Learning Tree (PLT) is excited to announce the launch of its first-ever Seedling Mini-Grant Program! Specifically designed for PLT-trained educators in Georgia, this innovative grant program offers up to $1,000 to help educators inspire students with creative forestry and environmental education projects.

The Seedling Mini-Grant is designed to support educators who use PLT’s award-winning curriculum to engage students in hands-on, interdisciplinary activities that explore trees, forests, and broader environmental topics. Whether it’s integrating STEM tools, or designing outdoor learning experiences, this grant provides the resources to bring these ideas to life.

  • Application Window: December 11, 2024 – March 31, 2025
  • Project Timeline: August 2025 – June 2026
