DESCRIPTION:Notification of Cancellation for Gaskins Forest Education Center: \nWe have decided to cancel Day in the Woods event\, scheduled for Saturday April 18\, 2020. We have already selected the date for next year – April 17\, 2021. Save the Date!!! \nWe had lots of discussion about pros and cons. Of course\, our prime concern is the safety of presenters and attendees. Activities at our event are very interactive and involve sharing materials and equipment – impossible to use social distancing. In addition\, quite a few of our presenters put a lot of advance effort into planning their activities. It seemed appropriate to make a decision now rather than later – ahead of my usual news release blitz a month before the event. \nIf you have already shared information about the event with people in your network\, we will be glad if you’ll help us share this cancellation update. \n____________________________________________________________ \nA Day in the Woods 2020 is slated for Saturday\, April 18.
